Sharp begins presidency at ICAS
Isobel Sharp has begun her new role as president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
Sharp, technical partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP London, officially took up the presidency at the institute's annual general meeting in Edinburgh on Monday. She succeeds Norman Murray, chairman of Cairn Energy.
The new president is supported by senior vice president Glenn Allison, managing director of the Stewart Milne Group, and junior vice president, Douglas Nisbet, a partner at Ernst & Young. Each post lasts for one year.
