Survey reveals how accountants coped with January stress
How did Britain's accountants deal with the annual overload that comes at the start of every year? A recent survey from accounting software company KashFlow has revealed the profession's preferred methods for beating the January blues.
The most popular ways for accountants to relieve January stress was to hit the gym, with a total 37% of respondents claiming serious exercise was essential to getting through the month.
The second most valued coping strategy was not to answer the phone, a tactic that may cause more problems than it solves in the long-term.
