UK student top in the world in accountancy exam

An accountancy student from Birmingham has scored the highest mark in the world in an accountancy exam.

Rebecca Paterson beat 3,661 others to bag the joint top score for the ACCA’s Advanced Taxation paper.

Paterson, who is a senior analyst in accounting separation at Ofwat said: “I am a really pleased to have done so well. I did not expect this as I returned to study five years after leaving university.

I propose that the top student in Adv Tax from ICA compete with ACCA compete with AIA as these three bodies is supposed to have equivalent standards in their exam papers.

Then, go publish the top student who came out tops in this competition.
