Xero to build links with online Acclipse practice management tools

Listed New Zealand online accounting house Xero has teamed up with Acclipse, an Australasian company that specialises in accountancy practice software. John Stokdyk reports

The two partners will focus on integrating Xero’s online accounting and bookkeeping system with Acclipse's web-based practice software. For Xero, Acclipse opens the door to more than 1,000 practices in New Zealand and Australia, and the business clients that they support.

Integrating the online systems will deliver significant efficiency gains and new opportunities for accountants, Xero claimed.
