Some of the finest minds of our generation headed to the Park Lane Hilton on Thursday night for the annual Taxation Awards. AccountingWEB was there too - but sadly HMRC's Dave Hartnett couldn't make it.

It’s usually a fine, good-humoured occasion, but because of their specialised nature the prizes are coveted both by practitioners and suppliers within the tax profession.
