Accountants petition HMRC to extend medics’ disclosure deadline

RSM Tenon is calling for HMRC to extend the notification deadline for the Tax Health Plan to give medical professionals more time to come forward.

The plan allows medical professionals to come forward with any understated income in return for a reduced penalty of 10% - but only if they notify HMRC by 31 March 2010.
