Adjudicator upholds 86% of tax credits complaints
More than half of all complaints received by the Adjudicator's Office in the year to March 2005 related to tax credits paid by the Inland Revenue.
The Adjudicator took on for investigation 554 complaints about the Inland Revenue, an increase of 48% over the previous year.
Eighty-six per cent of tax credits complaints investigated were upheld in the complainant's favour.
