CedAr brings together payroll and HR systems

Fresh from its acquisition of Preston-based HR and payroll software specialist, Goldenhill, accounts software developer CedAr will be demonstrating the combined product family at Softworld Accounting and Finance.

CedAr has even extended its integration to its marketing efforts, constructing a stand that will straddle two Softworld events - linking the Accounting & Finance stand to the neighbouring Softworld HR and Payroll exhibition.

CedAr will have a single stand that spans both exhibitions and will be providing demonstrations and information that allows visitors to fully appreciate the seamless integration of its accounting, HR and payroll applications.

Along with the integrated payroll functions, CedAr will demonstrate new versions of both its eFinancials (v3.2) and e5 (v5) accounting software families. The latter includes a new STEPs application to cope with complex commodities eprocurement and now integrates with the Version One document management system.

CedAr's ability to tie in with the acquired payroll product was based on a piece of software called the CedAr Interface Broker (CIBR), said managing director Mark Thompson. The middleware can also extend to external software packages, allowing the company to respond to customer demands for a single source for all their financials, HR and payroll software needs.
