Employer CD ROM errors

The Employer's CD ROM, issued to Employers annually is always updated to reflect Budget changes in early summer. The new version has been distributed to employers, who should upload this to replace the one issued before the end of the last tax year.

Deducting?

Doesn't deducting the NIC that results defeat the object of the net pay estimator? I hope the other tool that calculates the NIC takes into account all the other factors... :)

Thanks for the heads up on this - the Employers CD Rom, while it is welcome, does become another piece of software I have to know the workings of because I will get the phone call when it doesn't work.

Updated CD Rom is also not compatible with Google Chrome. Took HMRC about 10 days to realise and fix the problem. Very frustrating!
