Filing deadline 'unaffected' by strike action
The January 31 SA filing deadline is unaffected by today's large scale strike of civil servants, according to HMRC's press office.
It says that the network of Enquiry Centres across the country will be open to receive tax returns and help make emergency tax credit payments.
Paul Gray, chairman of HMRC said:
"We are determined to provide the best level of service possible to the public tomorrow. I see no reason for the strike action.
