HMRC to implement new structure within six months

A new organisational structure for HM Revenue & Customs' (HMRC) was announced in the department's 2005 Spring Report, published last week.

The new organisation will create "a modern, effective department to improve customer service, close the tax gaps, produce efficiency savings and strengthen the UK's frontiers," HMRC declared.
