Ministers urged to sing praises of music sector tax breaks
The government's research and development (R&D) tax credit scheme should be extended to the record industry to help the discovery of new artists, an industry body has urged.
In response to a government consultation on the creative economy, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) said it believes that investment in A&R should be given the same treatment as other industries.
