PAYE portal up and running - but mailboxes still closed
The Inland Revenue's PAYE Online service is up and working normally after "teething troubles" were experienced because of the volume of users who logged on last week. However the secure mailbox service will remain unavailable until the middle of this week.
As is customary in these situations, AccountingWEB and TaxZone members provided running reports on the availability of the Revenue's online service.
At 12.30pm on Thursday 7 April, David Hollister successfully logged on to the Revenue website and started filing P14s and P35s for five employees.
