QTAC teams up with the Big Red Book
Bristol-based payroll software specialist QTAC Solutions is diversifying into accounting software as a reseller of the Irish Big Red Book ledger program.
QTAC operations director Mark Smith said the company is always looking to grow organically and the success of the Big Red Book in Ireland led to some further discussions. The companies already share a number of users in the UK and Smith said there was a "natural fit" between the two applications.
"They're both fairly easy to use and are aimed at small businesses who might be frightened of computer software," said Smith.

I am not familiar with the Big Red Book, but as a QPay user I would be interested on behalf of clients who find the likes of Sage mindblowing.

Qtac & The Big Red Book
As a Qtac user since forever (it seems) and having always found it the best payroll software I've seem simply because of it's ease of use and understanding whilst being choc full of features I hope the Big Red Book is as good.
Like Robert before me a demo disk would be great and if it means some sensible competition for sage and the like at the small firm end of the market even better as frankly it is long overdue.
