Trust tax returns
HMRC has announced that letters confirming that trust returns have been received and processed without amendment will no longer be issued. HMRC Trusts has normally sent an acknowledgement letter to agents following the processing of a paper return which included a tax calculation which required no immediate amendment. As trusts are the only returns for which this is now done, the withdrawal of this facility should not come as a huge surprise to agents.

Has anyone else found the service to be Dead Slow?
I sent in a trust return online on 5 June. It apparently still has not been processed since a statement requesting a second payment on account was recently sent out despite the fact that the trust was wound up in the year and the first POA covers the liability.
