Two Cloud Computing companies have joined forces to launch “a complete business start-up package”, which it is claimed enables new companies the ability to start trading online immediately.

Liquid Accounts and @UK outlined the features of www.Cloud-start-up.com which include, “a new company, domain name, e-commerce website, business club membership and exclusive start-up version of Liquid Cloud Accounting software”. Users will be able to tap into the one million buyers on @UK’s ecommerce marketplace as part of the package.
“Statistics show that it’s crucial for start-ups to get to grips with their accounts from day one, but that many don’t because they’re focused on all the exciting things like products and branding,” explained  Liquid Accounts MD, Matt Holmes. “However, while 4 out of 5 new start-ups fail within the first three years, 4 out of 5 who use a computerised accounting system survive, simply because they can quickly and easily keep track of money coming in and going out and make sure that they don't run out!”
Holmes claimed users of www.cloud-start-up.com were effectively getting “a business in a box”, and added:  “As part of that, our easy to use Cloud accounting system helps them keep track of their figures and essential business information instantly from any device with an internet connection and share them with their accountant, bank or advisors.”
Liquid and @UK also confirmed offers of Cloud start-up packages would be made to applicants of the Department of Work and Pension’s New Enterprise Allowance Scheme. @UK’s charity is to also match funding loans of £1,000. The scheme will be available to Jobseekers Allowance claimants who have claimed for more than 26 weeks. The total package of support – once the viability of the business proposition is established - is potentially worth up to £2,274 to each participant who starts their own business, with additional support from a volunteer business mentor through the first few months of trading.
Ronald Duncan, Chairman and Technical Director of @UK PLC, commented: "Twenty years ago I started off in business using Enterprise Allowance.  It was a great program to get the unemployed working, however there is a lot to do when you start up.  Our joint package with Liquid Accounts means that you can get everything done in a few hours and be able to focus on your business from day one.
“The Government made a very wise investment of a few thousand pounds 20 years ago which has repaid millions of pounds in tax and identified billions of pounds of savings.”
Packages for the product start from £9.99 per month.
