CRM driving Sage's UK success - Stobart

"CRM (customer relationship management) products are one of the biggest drivers of our growth. Accounting and ERP software is growing, but it's in single digits [6-7%]. CRM is double digit - we are aiming for a benchmark of 15% annual growth," said Sage UK managing director Paul Stobart at the recent Sage Insights event in London.

Sage came to the CRM market late when it acquired US developer Interact in 2001.

Did Sage actually come to the CRM market late?

I seem to remember a Sage product called Telemagic (Contact Management?) a few years ago (1994/5?) - was hailed as a breakthrough

However after the launch everything seemed to very quiet
