The usually humdrum world of invoice documentation is buzzing in 2007, with a multitude of system implementations and new service launches. Purchase To Pay, a complete outsourcing service from e-Docs UK, is the latest to arrive on this thriving scene.

e-Docs UK is both a systems integrator of document a management systems from developers such as Hyland and Readsoft, and an outsourcing services provider for data capture and e-billing.

The Purchase To Pay service bundles together the outsourcing service around the company's DocHaven web-based archive system.

The system can take scans from paper documents or electronic formats such as email, PDF or XML and captures the information into DocHaven. Customers and suppliers can also be given access rights so they can enter invoices and track their progress.

The Purchase To Pay system will automatically match invoices to purchase order data and notify authorised approvers by email when invoices require their attention. The invoice values can then be uploaded to ERP or financial systems including SAP, Oracle, Sun, JD Edwards, Movex, Navision and Sage.

Colin Baterip, managing director of e-Docs UK claimed the system can reduce invoice processing time by 80% and cut processing costs by up to 50%.

Further details of the invoice outsourcing service are available from the e-Docs website.
