The really big change in Excel 2007 is not the ribbon but the disappearance of the icon toolbars. Features you use all the time seem to have disappeared back to into the menus.

You have to get it into your head that whenever your instinct is to move to the top of the screen and click an icon, don't! - just click on the right hand mouse. We've already seen that all the Formatting functions have been moved into the right mouse menu.
