I have an HP iPaq hx4700 which is like the new 214 with a 4 inch screen.

It is only 20 months old, but it cost £340 compared to the new ones, and only has Windows mobile 2.0 CE . The new one looks to be a bargain, so what am i missing?

Still, I use my 4700 for my diary and contacts. I have several databasea, and use it as a spreadsheet and word processor. It has plenty of e-books, and some music and games to keep me occupied. Best of all it runs my satnav program, through an external GPS receiver.

I was really hoping that HP would do at least a bit of convergence. There are lots of us out there with PDAs and SatNav, who want a decent sized screen. Its a real shame they did not give the 214 the GPS. Why oh why have they put it in the one with the smallest screen?
