Hyperion patent claim against Outlooksoft fails. By John Stokdyk

Performance management software specialist OutlookSoft recently prevailed in a $112 million patent infringement claim brought in the US eastern Texas district court by its rival Hyperion.

Following arguments in front of US district judge T John Ward, the jury found that Outlooksoft had not commited any infringements and that Hyperion's patent was invalid.

You would think they would have settled since it's only for $112. The lawyers cappuccino bill for the day probably came to more than that :)
