Microsoft issues five critical security alerts

Microsoft's April security bulleting highlighted eight problems, five of them critical.

The five critical alerts, detailed on Micrsofts Security Update page affect:

  • Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003
  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003
  • Internet Explorer
  • Word and Outlook
  • MSN Messenger 6.2

    Patches to plug these problems are available for download from the Microsoft site, along with bulletins covering non-critical issues.
