Microsoft lures ERP manager from Touchstone

Microsoft Business Solutions has recruited Touchstone managing director Paul White as its new product group director.

White will take up his new role in June and will focus in particular on the company's marketing activities to increase its share. The appointment is notable because MBS has poached its new executive from its biggest reseller, Touchstone.

But in Microsoft's announcement of the appointment, Touchstone chief executive took a conciliatory line.
