Microsoft Office Accounting to challenge payroll providers

The Payroll for Microsoft Office Accounting module - one of the less obvious features of Microsoft's new bookkeeping application - could be just as disruptive to the business software industry. John Stokdyk reports

Along with Office Accounting 2008, the payroll module is being offered as a free trial download to users until 5 April 2008. The service will cost £9.95 a month thereafter, with additional subscriptions required for each company that a user processes.

have downloaded the accountants version, one thing i am not sure of is how to write a cheque you only get 3 choices and i cant get around these yet except by jnl
