Microsoft revises troublesome security update

The most recent Windows security patch issued by Microsoft has resulted in "isolated issues after deployment" for users who changed their COM+ permissions.

Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-051 issued on 11 October provided patches for two critical vulnerabilities: the MIDL_user_allocate function in the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC); and memory structure problems in COM+.
