A year on from its launch, Online50 returned to Softworld Accounting & Finance with a new hosted application for BACS payments and an upgrade (for Sage Line 50 users.

Founded with support from Sage last year, Online50 delivers a fully working version of Sage Line 50 to any number of users via the Web. Having caught the attention of accountants and business customers at last year's Softworld show in Birmingham, Online50 is coming back to promote new services.

The online Sage Line 50 Version 11 service opened for business at the end of September and was available with no upgrade charge for existing users.

Businesses who opt to use the BACS electronic payment system are going to need to make the transition to the internet-based BACSTEL-IP system in the next year. To aid this migration, Online50 is unveiling what it claims to be the first hosted BACS solution.

If you are interested in the possibilities for putting your accounting and admin systems on the Web, Online50 has set up a Dataset Challenge to demonstrate that the system can handle whatever customers throw at it.
