Using the data from David Carter's tutorial How to report on KPIs ' #2 Product mix and margins, Simon Hurst explains how to use another useful component of Excel's PivotTable functionality ' the PivotChart. The tutorial is based on Excel 2003 but versions from Excel 2000 onwards work in a similar way.

1. Create the Pivot Chart
To get started we will repeat the initial instructions for KPIs - #2.
