Safe Computing buys Topaz

Specialist recruitment agency software developer Safe Computing has acquired its financial and accounting software partner, Topaz. John Stokdyk reports.

While accounting software groups such as Sage, COA Solutions and IRIS have responded to slowing demand by buying up HR software companies, the Safe-Topaz deal was presented as a meeting of like minds.

The Topaz product line includes accounting, credit control, payroll, HR and time & attendance modules, which already work in tandem with Safe's Tempest Pay and Bill system for recruitment agencies.
