Sage UK employees offered voluntary redundancy

In the wake of its half-year end, Sage has offered voluntary redundancy packages to its UK staff, according to the Newcastle-based Chroniclelive.co.uk site.

For the moment, the offer is for the UK workforce only, the company said. Sage employs 14,000 people worldwide with 2,200 in the UK, of whom 1,600 are based in the north east.
