Stewart Twynham's Security Diary: A spot of data recovery
Last week, I was asked to carry out some data recovery. Normally it’s something I’d leave to the professionals - people like Ontrack - but in this case the client simply couldn't justify the cost and time of a professional recovery.
The item in question wasn’t a hard drive, but an SD card - the sort of thing you’d find in a digital camera or phone. It didn’t sound like a hardware failure.
