MYOB today announced that Throgmorton, a company specialising in corporate administration services, has chosen to implement MYOB's Viztopia Practice Management (VPM) software. Throgmorton provide accounting, tax, company secretarial and HR services to the financial services sector and required a system that could accurately capture employee time and provide them with the management information they needed to run their business more efficiently.

The firm has grown significantly in recent years and with thirty five fee earners, its paper based system was not adequate to provide them with the information they needed to drive their business forward. Ninety percent of Throgmorton's business is fee based, so it essential that they can measure the performance of each individual fee earner and determine their overall profitability. As the company reached critical mass, it became evident that they needed to quickly implement a solution that would give them this information.

According to Andrew Rubio, Managing Director of the Financial Services Group, 'We chose MYOB because it's a well established brand, which is highly regarded by our industry peers. We are currently in the process of implementing VPM and are already seeing the benefits. It has created a discipline within the office and employees are more acutely aware of their time, which has led to a significant increase in efficiency. We are confident that VPM will equip us with everything we need to manage our business processes more efficiently and allow us to focus on growing our business'

Simon Crompton, General Manager said that 'MYOB remains committed to developing solutions that help businesses improve their processes and give them greater visibility of their overall performance.'
