Caption competition 6/11/09

Shadow home secretary David Davis showed his teeth this week by urging Conservative leader David Cameron to commit himself to holding a referendum on Britain's relationship with the EU within three months of taking office.

Cameron stirred anger in the party recently by abandoning a 'cast iron guarantee' to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty hours after the Czech Republic ratified it.

Which frightened both the heroes so,
They quite forgot their quarrel."
