Artist Jill Sylvia hit the headlines recently for creating sculptures of famous buildings using accounts ledger books. Can you do better? We’re inviting AccountingWEB.co.uk members to get creative for a chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Think you’re up to the challenge?

Build your own sculptures and send in a photo of your creation for a chance to win £500 of digital photography goodies.

Sculptures should be built from the tools of your trade, e.g. ledger books, calculators, pens – whatever you can lay your hands on! You can build anything you like from architectural models like Sylvia’s, to animals, cars, planes, or even a life size homage to Led Zepplin – whatever floats your boat.

Send your photos to us in jpeg format to [email protected] and we’ll display the winners on AccountingWEB.co.uk. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 19 August.

Prizes

Three lucky winners will receive a selection of goodies courtesy of design and creative software company Serif and its spin-off gadget website, Gizoo.

The package includes Serif’s new PhotoPlus X3 Digital Studio software, which makes professional photo editing more accessible and affordable than ever, together with easy-to-use desktop publishing (DTP) package, PagePlus X3.

Winners will also receive a Busbi Digital Video Camera from www.gizoo.co.uk. The Busbi is a friendly point and shoot digital video camcorder which makes recording, editing and exporting movies easier than ever.

Three prize packages worth over £500 will be given away to the most creative entrants.
