Print career
A full-time journalist since 1986, I have had staff positions on:

• ecCADENCE (AutoCAD magazine)
• Cadcam International
• Building magazine.

As a freelance, I have contributed to The Financial Times, The Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Evening Standard, Financial Director, Design Week, Computer Weekly, Computing, Mac User, Transport, New Statesman and many, many more. For several years, I also worked as an editorial consultant for Hunt Thompson PR, providing advice, content and media training to clients to that included Silicon Graphics, Cadcentre and Roffey Park Management College.

• Writing and editing for effective communication: I drafted large portions of the Sift Media/Sift editorial handbook and have provided copywriting and marketing communication guidance both in-house and to Sift Media clients
