Alot is set to change in the world of VAT. The new rates, ongoing Brexit concerns, calls to lower VAT on domestic power and the mandation of MTD for VAT are all coming at the start of April- Are you ready? 

The 12.5% rate in hospitality and leisure, which the Chancellor brought in to soften the blow of Covid, will revert back to the standard rate at the start of April.

We also recently learned that the new penalties for VAT late filing and late payment will no longer start in April, but that doesn’t stop the MTD for VAT in its tracks on 1 April.
