seems to be loads of issues with the RTI software and no-one answers the phone or replies to messages

has been a good product and service over the years but rapidly losing faith in them at the moment

At this instant we have 3 pending messages in our support queue, one of which is a phone call.

Could you please tell me what message we haven't responded to?

RTI software

This is the first time I have used a payroll package for doing my client's wages as I only have one at the moment who has a payroll. I chose 12PAY primarily as it was free. After a little fiddling around I managed to get it working well and the RTI submission went! I was impressed for free software.

Thanks edges. We've got thousands of users live on a brand new system, and it would be quite surprising if a small proportion of those didn't have issues because we couldn't anticipate all the weird and wonderful things that people might be doing with our software (one example that popped out in the first week was a couple of sites making *payments* to employees using codes designated for pension contributions, which under RTI is an error). We also have a very large number of new users of our software because of HMRC dropping BPT support for above 9 employees. Despite that we're proud to say that we've finished virtually every working day (EDIT @ 17:55 including today) with zero outstanding issues.

I have to reply in support of 12Pay here.   One of the many things I love about 12Pay (apart from the software and cost) is the fact that the support is outstanding.   I probably make a nuisance of myself with my phone calls, but they are always answered promptly and helpfully. Likewise my emails.    I don't know what happened in your case, but I think you must have been very unlucky because that has not been my experience over the last 5 years.
