AAT to CIMA - your thoughts...

AAT to CIMA - your thoughts...

Didn't find your answer?

Okay, I'm just looking for your thoughts really...

I'm ready to take pretty much all my L3 AAT exams... (For personal reasons I've not taken them progressively but studied all topics still).

So I was thinking about continuing post AAT onto CIMA... For L4 studies they offer exemptions, but for level 3 you'd be required to take to certificate in business accounting level before the professional qualification level, but have to pay the equivilant exam fee for each exception none the less...

So is it worth going on to level 4 AAT? Or going straight to cima after level 3? Or go to level 4 and do cima simultaneously since level 4 would teach you the reporting for limited companies which it would seem cima isn't that sort of study.....

Why would you even consider not finishing AAT? It's going to take the same amount of time to reach the same position for either route you take. However, with one of the routes you wouldn't have completed AAT.
