ACCA Continuity of Practice Nominee

Didn't find your answer?

Hi All,

I am in the process of applying for my first practicing certificate with ACCA. I have completed their practising certificate experience form which they have approved but am stuck on the application form as I do not know anyone that holds a practicing certificate. I have contacted some local firms but they have not replied. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to be my nominee for continuity of practice?

I am an FCCA accountant applying for a part time certificate and will be looking to get clients that are sole traders/small partnerships/small limited companies. I am based in North Essex.

Thank you!

Hi Miranda,

How have you got along with the above mentioned situation.

I am finding myself in a similar situation and am in the process of applying for one also.
I was thinking maybe we could explore a recipricol agreement where I can be your back up and vice versa. I myself have also been qualified for over ten years and am based in West London. Am guessing North Essex and West London wont be too far of a distance for them to reject it?

Let me know your thoughts.

Some firms listed on ACCA’s website provide continuity of practice services I found a firm on there and have an agreement with them. There aren’t many firms listed but I got a good response I’d recommend trying it for yourself. If you filter on location and continuity of practice under services all the firms providing the service will come up.
