Is it just me or is the ACCA website hopeless?
Been trying to do my CPD declaration and pay my 2014 subs for an hour.
Is it my system? Too much traffic maybe?
Horrible, cluttered website anyway.
I'll go and be grumpy elsewhere............

CIMA just hoover money out by Direct Debit
I have a suspicion I should be using the CIMA website a bit more than I do - maybe that can be another of my new year resolutions.
Wouldn't have thought the website would be overloaded at this time though?
If they won't take your money...
If they won't take your money then let them wait, the site is a complete mess, always has been, and the continual upgrades just make things worse.
All i want is
a page to update my information / log cpd.
a page for training resources
a page for technical articles
a page for links to another server for other countries outside the UK (OK I don't want that but it'll make things simpler).
Can't think of anything else.
Ignore their website
I always do all the year end declarations and payments etc by post. If they can't be bothered to provide a working website, then I'm not going to waste my valuable time. Let them incur more costs in processing paper and manual payments.
Occasionally, just for interest, I go onto the ACCA website just to see if they've improved it, but it never gets any better - in fact usually worse. It's an absolute disgrace and must give a very poor impression to the general public.
Think Global!
You seem to be labouring under the mistaken impression that ACCA is there to serve its members.
Silly!
It's there to be a 'global body blah blah blah rhubarb rhubarb' or something.
Call them
I have had the same problems but I called them on 0141 582 2000, they were still working at 7.15 pm yesterday - very helpful on phone - all sorted now.
Good luck
SA
Agreed, complete nightmare. It's completely unnavigable (is there such a word?), cluttered and is grinding to a halt today. Still, what do you want for 200 quid a year?
