Access to SA and CT in the Gateway removed

Argh I feel I'm in for a whole world of pain

Didn't find your answer?

I logged into the portal today and noticed the Self Assessment and Corp tax sections are missing, has this happened to anyone else? I've got a really bad feeling about this.

Getting all the authorisations again would be a nightmare.

Do you have more than one login for different services, and are using the wrong one?

Well they *think* its due to not providing AML registration details but HMRC have already been sent this info more than once and I've had no warnings. Grr.

Ouch.

I once lost my entire list of VAT clients, it was not a pleasant experience.

Well this is very likely to be the end of the practice, I still have no SA, CT and now the VAT has stopped working which I'm sure is related. Without being able to submit these for the last month we really are now on the cliff edge and unless I can speak to someone who can do something about it at HMRC we are doomed.

Thanks CS777, appreciated.

Okay so I've managed to get through to someone at HMRC, they don't think it is an AML issue they think its an online services helpdesk issue.

So now on hold hoping they answer soon.

Now answered and they think it is an AML issue and tell me there is nothing they can do, you have to write to the agent man team. ARGH

Going to re try HMRCs and ICAEW AML helpline.

Called ICAEW they don't have a direct line but I'm told someone will call me back but although they can't tell me when it will be but it wont be today. Is it their policy to only employ condescending a holes?

Still can't get through to HMRCs AML team.
