Accommodation Allowable Expense?

Can I claim it?

Didn't find your answer?

Hi.

I am self-employed.

I have rented a studio apartment this tax year - 19/20.

Can I claim this as an allowable expense on my self assessment tax return?

Thank you.

Unlikely based on what you have said and making a few assumptions, however there are such few details in your question it is impossible to give a considered answer.
It's like saying 'I have bought a dog, can anyone tell me what breed it is' without giving any description or a photograph.

Self employed doing what?

Rented the apartment for what reason?

Key peices of information lacking from your post which means no one is going to give you an answer.

You can claim what ever you want but whether it is allowable is another question.
