Accountant certificate of confirmation

Anyone done one for the EU Settlement Scheme (ltd co)?

Didn't find your answer?

There isn't a specified format so all that can really be said is that the copy of the accounts submitted reflects what has been filed with CH and HMRC under FRS102. What would you include? Has anyone provided one of these for the EU Settlement Scheme and encountered any issues?

I was under the impression that the scheme was now closed to new applications. So, if this is part of processing an existing application, does it not indicate the purpose of the request (e.g. ID verification, or earnings history, or filing compliance, or ...)?

I know this isn't that helpful but, like you, I can find no reference to the requirement in these circumstances - let alone any example/template.

Yes it is an existing application. I have paraphrased what is in the accountant's report in the accounts so hope that will suffice.

Hi. This is the format i use and it has never failed.

We are writing to you to confirm that your accounts have now been submitted to Inland Revenue and Companies House.

For the year ended ....... 20XX your company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies, subject to the small companies regime. (If this was the case for your client too)

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anymore information regarding this matter.

Your name, your company name, Qualification ....

Did you mean to say "The Inland Revenue"?
