I have a VAT registered Limited Company in the UK. I would like to buy some goods from business based in Germany and sell them to a business in Poland. Therefore was wondering how should I account for VAT on those transactions.
I am considering two options. One is to sell those goods directly from Germany to Poland and the second one is to buy those goods in Germany then rent a storage in Poland and sell it from there.
Could you give me some advice how should I account for VAT on those transactions?
Thank you.

You may need to register for VAT in Germany or Poland. Best to take paid advice as this is a complicated area

If you buy from Germany and ship goods to Poland that will be triangulation see para 13 Notice 725.
If you buy and store the goods in Poland you will become registrable for Polish VAT and I would suggest that unless there are very good commercial reasons for this option that you avoid it and use triangulation instead..
