Accounts package

Accounts package

Didn't find your answer?

Can anyone recommend an accounts package that can replace excel spreadsheets? Stock and POP hardly required, but a Sales enquiry to order to invoice process is crucial. NL,VAT and payroll (only 3 staff) required for online filing. Link to P&L, cashflow and BS forecasts would be nice. System needs to be fairly paperless, with instant emailing of invoices and statements another requirement.

QuickBooks, Andica & Sage Line 50
Rupert

As suggested in the earlier post QuickBooks may a viable option. You can buy QuickBooks accounts with the integrated payroll. QuickBooks software provides 99 companies as standard. QuickBooks payroll works for 99 employees.

If you don't want the integrated payroll, then have a look at Andica Payroll Software for 10 employees at £69+VAT.

Another alternative is Sage Line 50 Financial Controller and Sage Instant payroll (10 employees). Sage Instant accounts may not provide all the features you need.

Email me you details or call me to discuss your requirements.

Try an online solution
Hi Rupert,

Why don't you try an online solution for the accounts, either http://www.winweb.com (we use this for our clients and it has the facility to scan in invoices received) or my friend David Terrar at Twinfield http://www.twinfield.co.uk can also offer you a solution.

For the payroll, only 3 staff and you want online filing, then try moneysoft http://www.moneysoft.co.uk easy to use and will fit in nicely with the paperless solution you are seeking.

Good luck.

QuickBooks and Andica
QuickBooks accounts software could be a package for you. Quickbooks Accountant has most of the accounts capabilities you need, you can see a list of features comparison on http://www.quickbooks-software.co.uk. I don't think you can instantly email documents from the software but save them as PDF files and use Outlook to email them. Quickbooks also have a payroll software that must be linked to the accounts software so when you have to upgrade payroll you also have to upgrade accounts therefore use a separate payroll software Andica payroll (http://www.andica.com) is a decent package and you get free upgrade if you buy support.
