I applied for VAT registration for a client a couple of days ago through the Agent Services Account (the newer style account). I've now had an email from HMRC telling me I have a message and to log on to the HMRC portal and access the communications area. I've looked everywhere that I can find and cannot see any communications area or messages.
I've searched Any Answers - the only thread I found was a couple of years ago and the menu option mentioned doesn't seem to exist. I've also tried getting to it via Google, which is what I had to do to find the VAT registration option in the first place!
Is it just me? Can anybody help?? Please!
