Agents services account

I know it's been covered before but.........

Didn't find your answer?

I'm trying to transfer 1 client onto my Agent Services a/c for VAT. The automatic transfer link in HMRC wants to transfer all my clients over (including self assessment ones). Why? or is this the new system and it has no adverse effect or possibly I'm doing something wrong

I'm sure this has been answerd by AWEB before but I can't find it

Once set up it should link automatically, so you shouldn't need to 'transfer' the client as such. It's an all or nothing thing.

No harm in having them all on your ASA as it doesn't take functionality away from your old log in unless you convert them to MTD.

The "automatic transfer" link is transferring your authorisations across, it's not moving clients to MTD. You can do it without losing anything, it just means your new ASA gets the same authorisations as your old agent account.

Can I access client records from the ASA account.?? It seems to want to have new authorisations for each client
