prediction comes true
Sure enough, I got a ton of email notificatons about subjects going back to March but it looks as though they're com,ing over in lumps. Enjoy!
If anyone's interested, I have solved the delivery of headlines problem so you can see headlines for anything AccWEB churns out in the order in which they were posted. It's a bit crude but it works if you have an RSS reader. It's free.

London buses
Anyone fancy a bet the email notification fix will be like the arrival of London buses - all 3 at once? :)
Now if the webbies at AW converted this site to be RSS friendly, then none of this would happen.
Not so frivolous as it sounds - I invited AW's esteemed publisher for tapas at my place in Spain to discuss following his invite to me to chat over a pint. Sadly my passport's expired so I'm kinda stuck here pro tem.
ROI hint: Cheaper than a meal in London - and that includes the return flight by EasyJet. Ho hum.
Thank you for your feedback..
We are investigating why responses are not being delivered by email. It seems that if someone in a thread posts an email address incorrectly in the comment heading the system backs up. This is something we will work to resolve.
We will also review the search function and look to improve it. If you have any more suggestions for improvements please post them here.

Although I posted a response to this posting and there have so far been 9 other responses, I have not had any emails notifying me of these despite having requested them. My email address with Accounting Web is correct so really should be no excuse.
I have even had to look back on old postings to see if they had been replied to without my knowledge.
Phil -of course you are unique-each of us is
in our own ways. You are not, I hope, unusual.
Your experience may perhaps be unusual or even unique.
Words matter!
No
I sent a copy of two postings "to a friend" - myself at another email address - and I never received it.
I must say recently the emails have dried up but I put it down to nobody else responding.
Not unique
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
For a while, I turned the email bit off because I got fed up. Then it started working again, and now it seems to have got worse.
It's gone spotty
Yep - I was thinking the same thing myself. And the search sucks these days as well.
