Amazon and eBay integration

Amazon and eBay integration

Didn't find your answer?

Hello everyone.

I know people have asked this before, but since it's a fast-changing area I thought I'd ask again.

Does anyone have any advice on software for integrating Amazon and eBay sales and inventory with bookkeeping packages? I'm aware of three, none of which are exactly ideal:

Brightpearl - very expensive

Stitchlabs and Xero - a total disaster, designed solely for the US market (such that Xero have stopped marketing the integration with Stitchlabs), single currency, can't handle VAT, poor customer service from both sides when it comes to the integration between them (My last query took 10 days to answer (and was answered by a phone call to my mobile at 11pm on Friday night!), both Xero and Stitchlabs Stitchlabs tell you to speak to the other, and Stitchlabs support only operates between 9am and 5pm California time!) and very poor controls (e.g. sending batches of invoices to Xero seven times and neither Stitchlabs nor Xero spotting there was a problem)

Tradebox and Sage - this is next on my list to try, but not being a Sage customer I'm reluctant to start down that road, especially since it only works with Sage Instant or Sage 50, and therefore can't be cloud-based.

Anyone got any other solutions or stories??

I have a client who is an online retailer and we use Sage and Tradebox. I find Tradebox really outdated and the support my client gets is rubbish! It isn't the smoothest operation either.

I would dearly love for him to find a cloud solution but we haven't found anything yet!

Tradebox Support

#Ashdown Bookeeping. I run the support at Tradebox and am staggered that any customer would believe our support is rubbish. We provide comprehensive and in-depth support to resolve any technical issue customers encounter. There are times when we cannot resolve issues because they are caused by the customer's environment and are beyond our control. However, we always go the extra mile to identify the problem and try to resolve it. Attached is a screen shot of our support metrics over the last 60 days (maximum that can be reported). You will see that we have 100% satisfaction rating from the 302 tickets we have dealt with in the last 60 days.

If you wish yo PM me I can get in contact directly with the customer and resolve any issues they have.

ESP?

A client uses E Seller Pro (Sandbourne Systems) but this is used via Sage as well  - took a bit of setting up, and a constant work in progress, but pretty good overall.

Haven't come across anything which is cloud based though, sorry...

It's not cheap, but also not prohibitively expensive, although they do charge a monthly fee based on turnover via Amazon and eBay. There again, this is only payable if it generates the sales!

Thanks both. Think we're going to persevere with xero and stitchlabs for a bit longer at least. I'm too used to working in the cloud to start using Sage!

Sage and Tradebox online

It is possible to have Sage and Tradebox hosted together with http://www.online50.net. If you define Cloud in the way that the Oxford dictionary define it (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/cloud-computing?q=cloud+computing) then they could help.
