ACCOUNTS SUBMISSION TO HMRC

Didn't find your answer?

Guys,

I just discovered that I cannot submit my accounts directly to HMRC.  I use Kashflow Accounting Software who do not seem to have a solution to my requirement.  Any suggestions, comments on available options would be highly appreciated.

Regards.

As a business owner you should be able to register with HMRC and submit your return with them. If you are trading through a Ltd company you will also need to submit your accounts to Companies House

It would definitely be in your interest to speak to an accountant though... without any experience or formal training the chances of you completing DIY accounts accurately, compliantly and taking advantage of any tax efficiencies are slim to none.

What software are you using to prepare and submit your corporation tax return? That will obviously attach your accounts as a matter of course, provided of course that they are in the required (iXBRL) format. Have you already had your accounts completed and is a version of them in that format available. If not, you are not ready to submit anything to HMRC yet, and should focus on your accounts.
