Annual tax summary 19/20

Didn't find your answer?

Hi, I submitted someone's tax return on 11th June, how long do you normally have to wait to print off the annual tax summary, as they need it for a mortgage. It was for 5 April 2020.

Thanks

And how did you submit it before the end of the tax year?

Don't understand, unless the OP has edited their question.

Dunno - I read it as "on 5 April" - so either it has been edited or I misread.

Mortgage lenders usualy want tax calculation and tax year overview. But intermediaries use any number of dumb terms, usually SA302.
Speak to the intermediary and ask what exacly lender wants

If it was filed by software, id expect to see the tax year overview populated within days of submission.

SA302 can be printed off from your software.

Perhaps try resubmitting as an amendment.

Tax calculation can be printed from software. Genuine SA302 only from HMRC software by client where client submits himself.

I understand that, but pretty much any lender is happy with a SA302 generated by software which includes the submission IRMark, it is only the Tax Year Overview that they want, which comes directly from HMRCs account.

The point being made is that if it's generated by commercial software, it's not an SA302, it's simply a tax calculation. Only HMRC can issue SA302's.

HMRC don't have the copyright on 'SA302'.

My software generated ones are headed:-
Tax Calculation (SA302)

I was told their system is updated within 72 hours after which you can print the TYO.

It has been a bit variable of late. Only noticed as all subcontractors desperate for refunds. 4 arrived in my clients account same day (friday) took a week before the "refund pending" changed to Date refund paid
